From MagnOogle Magna WIKI
This is generally a way to show how to upload files to or from your Magna Server. SFTP clients can be used to send files to your account.

Create File
You can run the contract report to a csv file.
- The contract report is located on the Main Sales & Marketing Menu.
- You will need to set all of the parameters as desired for the data you are looking to pull.
- Toggle #9, File Output, to Yes.
- When you are ready to run the report, press Enter. It will ask you for a file name, type in "reports/file_name.csv" (you will, of course, change out the words "file_name" for what ever you wish to name the file), and press Enter. NOTE: There is no "/" at the very front of the full path and filename.
- When the "Send Report To:" box appears, select Screen.
- When the report has finished running, press Q to exit back to the Contract Report Parameter Settings screen.

The file has been created. You now have two choices for accessing that file:
Get file using a browser
The first choice is to open a web browser...
- Login to lhk.magna.net/reports
- Select the desired directory (which would be your login name, generally speaking)
- Select the file you wish to open in Excel.
IF your Windows settings allow it, your PC will ask you if you would like to save or open the file, and then you would proceed accordingly. Some PC's are designed to open up the file in Excel automatically, if this is the case, you can go to File and Save As from there.
Web Broser option 2
type ftp://username@ResortID.magna.net/ For username use your username in Magna. ResortID is your 3 or 2 letter resort ID. This should prompt you for a password and show a list of files in your home directory. Internet Exploder seems to be pretty braindead and will not work. However, Firefox seems to work flawlessly. You should be using Firefox for magna anyway. It is designed to work in Firefox. You can get Firefox here http://getfirefox.com/
Email the file to yourself
If the above does not work for you because your Window settings do not allow it, then you can email the file to yourself as an attachment.
- Go back to the Anzio / Character based Magna window.
- Press Esc to leave the Contract Report Parameter Settings screen.
- From the Main Sales & Marketing menu, press F7.
- You are now entering PINE email software (if it prompts questions about saving old mail files, just press Y for Yes).
- Press C for Compose.
- Enter the email address that you wish to receive the file at in the "To :" line, and press Enter.
- Enter passed the "CC :" line.
- On the "Attchmnt:" line, type in "reports/file_name.csv" (again, you are substituting file_name for the name you actually gave the file), and press Enter.
- You don't have to enter a "Subject :" it is up to you.
- When you are ready to send the email, press Ctrl-X.
- Press Y for Yes to Send message.
- From the PINE main menu, press Q to Quit/Exit the PINE email software.
You should see the email in the account you sent it to, with the file attached.
Use another scp client
There are many scp clients available to pull csv files and Magna Timeshare reports that are saved to your home directory. User your client domain for the host and your username and login for the authentication.
WinSCP
I have used this SFTP client for many clients and it is open source. Meaning, no money needs to be paid. Although [SFTPdrive] is much slicker. WikiPedia, great article and Official Website
SFTPdrive
You can also download SFTPdrive and use your home directory as a files system. Sftpdrive This client will let you map a drive to your windows system.
